Awesome Grilled Shrimp Recipe

I tried this grilled shrimp recipe on Christmas Eve dinner… and we loved it. I prepared it again today and… we loved it the same.

It is a super simple recipe that anyone can prepare. Easy, quick to prepare and a guaranteed success with your family and friends.

I like shrimps, but I thought they were more complicated to prepare. I was wrong. I bought them entire (they have much more taste) and cleaned them by myself. I used gloves so no problems with my hands and nails ;-) .

Just detach the head from the shrimp body and eliminate it or use for a soup or sauce. Always using your hands, eliminate the hard skin leaving only the tail, just for beauty.

With a toothpick or a knife, extract the black/red thread from its back (intestines), wash and put into a bowl.

When you have done with all, eliminate the exceeding water from the bowl, add a couple of spoons of vodka, some fresh basil leaves, some pink pepper grains and a couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Let it rest for half an hour into the fridge.

Insere two shrimps per stick and grill them on preheated non adherent pan, one minute per side. Serve with lemon fresh slices. Delicious!

A delicious and super simple grilled shrimp recipe

Ingredients
  • 20 shrimps
  • fresh basil leaves
  • 1 Tsp of pink pepper
  • 2 Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp of vodka
  • fresh lemon to serve with

Instructions
